Meat Picker ("we", "us") is a free web app that helps shoppers pick the best cut of meat based on visual leanness. This page explains what data we handle and why.
Camera and photos
Meat Picker uses your device's camera only after you allow it. Photos you capture are analyzed entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or share your photos on our servers. Closing the tab discards them.
Information we collect
- Usage analytics: aggregated, anonymous page views and feature usage to improve the product.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser, and device type, collected briefly for security and abuse prevention.
- Contact messages: if you email us, we keep that email to reply to you.
We do not sell personal data.
Cookies and advertising
We may use cookies for basic functionality and analytics. If we display third-party ads in the future (for example, Google AdSense), those providers may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
Children
Meat Picker is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@meatpicker.food. We respond within 30 days.
